Exploring West Yellowstone - Part 2 (Our Journey) July 8th, 2022

I didn't have a lens powerful enough to clearly capture this picture above, but what you are seeing is a grizzly bear feeding on a bison carcass and a black wolf (above) circling the carcass and grizzly. We were able to take a peak through one of the other spectators binoculars and camera lens. What a cool sight to see! Note: the shot of the grizzly was downloaded to have a better cover pic on the blog. 
Wyoming's Petrified Tree is part of the park's historic Petrified Forest, where a huge strand of towering redwoods once stood, 55 million years ago.
And more bison on our drive back to the campground. 
After leaving the hot springs, we saw a herd 20-30 elk resting against a building in Mammoth.
