I wear my sunglasses...

Mom and Stella took a little trip to run some errands on Sunday.
Stella saw Mom wearing her sunglasses on the hot, sunny July afternoon and wanted to wear her own pair.
Once she got them on, she wore (or played with) them for the whole trip.
She didn't want to take them off.
She wanted to keep them on into the store. She was trying to stay incognito from her adoring fans...movie star!

Stella's 15 month check up

At 15 months - Stella now weighs 20.87 lbs and measures just over 31 inches (31.3)
Dr. Javier said that Stella looks good and Mom and Dad are doing a great job! Stella is at 25th percentile for weight, but right on track and 75th percentile for height and head size.
While waiting for the Doctor to come in, Stella bounced back and forth from  Mom to Dad having us read one of her favorite books - Where is my nose

Smoothie Queen

Dad made smoothies for breakfast this weekend and Stella loved it!
She loved her special sippy cup with the straw.

Day on the lake!

This past weekend we spent Saturday on the lake. Stella has not really liked being in the water this season and starts to cry a little when Mom or Dad float with her until......
we bribe her with cheese puffs or veggie sticks and quickly changes her tune. She loves the water and boating or maybe she just really really loves her cheesy puffs!

Of course Max can't get enough of the Lake!

Bye Bye

Stella is getting better and better at walking since she took her first steps a few months ago.
This morning, Stella and mom were walking to the car to go to daycare. Dad was standing in the garage saying "bye bye, Stella." Without missing a beat, Stella said "BYE BYE" and started to wave.

THAT blankie

Stella loves pointing at things around the house and asking "THAT?"
She seems to want to know what the object is called or she wants to have the item.
The object she seems to want most often lately is her blanket. Lately, she wants to carry or snuggle with one of her blankets a lot.
If she happens to see one of her blankets laying around, she will probably point at it as ask for it by saying "THAT!"
