Foster's first bites

Foster has been very interested in what the rest of his family eats ("It doesn't look like my milk!?! I want to try that!!")

Since he's doing well holding himself up and obviously interested, we gave him his first bites of solid food.
He had some pureed kale, cucumber, & pear and really loved it. Unlike his sister, he actually swallowed his first bite instead of pushing it out of his mouth with his tongue.

He barely wasted a drop of the food and probably would have finished the whole jar if we let him. Big sister, Stelly, liked helping out and did a great job carefully feeding him.

Stella "reading"

Every night, we always read a few books before bed.

Stella has been "reading" books to Mom and Dad and Baby Brother. She usually does a pretty good job of remembering the stories to tell us.

She's also been practicing writing her name. She can write all the letters in her name but hasnt figured out that they need to be in a certain order yet.

Foster sitting up

Mom went out of town for a few days over the weekend. When she left, he still needed some help to sit up and stay up

By the time mom returned, he was sitting up and leaning over without help and also, without falling over (at least most of the time).
