It's raining. The weekend has arrived! 😴

"Daycare wears me out." After 10:30am on a Saturday and still sound asleep. Somebody is tired😴😴😴😴

Finally a nice day to be outside!

Finally a break from the snow, rain and cold weather that we've had here in Knoxville. 

Stella seems to like playing with and touching the grass a lot more than the blanket of snow that recently covered the ground.

9 & 10 month pictures part 2!

Here are some of Stella’s 10 month pictures.

At 10 months – Stella perfected standing on her own, crawling around the house and always looking to grab Dad or Mom’s hands and do laps around the house. She also moved up to the next class in daycare – “the bigger kids” the toddlers.

It was also time to baby proof the house. She is now mobile and looking to get into anything and everything. She has started climbing stairs with one of us by her side. Stella also walks around with her push toy that she got for Christmas. She has taken a couple spills and bumped her head while walking…..it had Dad and Mom a little nervous, but didn’t stop her.

         

Changing diapers has become more of a challenge – somebody would rather play.

Feb was a cold, snowy month in Knoxville. Stella’s daycare was closed for almost 2 weeks straight, but that was ok because Mom and Dad got to spend extra time with our little buddy.

            

         

    

Stella didn’t know what to make of the snow at first….crying a little when she picked it up. Next year she will be helping us make a snowman in the front yard.

9 and 10 month pictures!

We are a little behind in posting these to the blog, but here are some pictures from Stella’s 9 & 10th month.

Getting big! Stella had her 9 month doctor visit – she tipped the scales at 16 lbs. 9ozs and is 27.2 inches tall.

At 9 months we saw the start of her newly acquired motor skills…..sitting up on her own, the early stages of crawling, attempting to stand and her favorite -  to walk with the assistance from Dad and Mom. She also started eating solid foods at 9 months, especially her Toasty O’s.

Trip to Banner Elk

This past Friday, February 27 was Joe's last full time day at WBIR. We took a long weekend and went up to the condo at Sugartop to relax. 

The weather was snowy for the first two days and, by the time we were leaving, it was rainy. The weather gave us a good excuse to stay in and take full advantage of the pool and hot tub.

Stella is ready to hit the spa in her robe (above).

Terry, Adrian and Lainey joined us on Saturday. Stella was very interested in Terry and spent a lot of time staring at him.
