Norris Lake State Park

Rice Grist Mill. Originally constructed along Lost Creek in Union County, this mill was built by James Rice in 1798. 

At times, the mill was rigged to power a sawmill, a cotton gin, a trip hammer, and supplied electric lights for the mill and Rice home in 1899. 

Joe, Colby & Stella out for a walk along the Clinch River inside the State Park. Norris Dam State Park sits on more than 4,000 acres located on Norris Reservoir. 

Visit from Nona and Old Daddy

This past weekend, Stella got to meet her Grandparents for the first time. Nona and Old Daddy visited and held their first Grandchild,?but escaped without changing any poopy diapers.

Stella’s birth announcement got national attention thanks to some frisky rabbits on live TV! CNN, NBC, BBC, Youtube, Denver, Atlanta, Dallas, St. Louis, Tampa stations and many more places.

As you can see by the number of hits in just a few days (over 51,000) on this youtube.com link that this video went viral. Below on a website, what’s trending - One of the top funniest trending videos in the world. It’s crazy to see how many people saw this.

This youtube link with almost a million views since this aired on Friday, April 18th 2014. Thanks to some “wascally wabbits”! Such a crazy experience for two proud parents! Although, the rabbits were the headliners we know the real star! Here is the link to the video on YouTube

Stella Mae Baker – 4/16/14 9:54pm 8lbs. 12oz 21 inches. Stella means star in Italian and Mae means beautiful in Celtic/Gaelic. She’s our beautiful little star.
