Camping at North Beach Campground (Day 2) 6/17-6/19/16

Stella and Mom started off the day at the playground while Dad made breakfast. 

Our little climber scaling the kids rock wall and rope ladder. 

After breakfast, we took the boat out for the first time on Lake Champlain. We dropped anchor at Thayer Beach for a while before heading out for lunch. 

About a 45 minute boat ride to the the Boat House from Thayer Beach and we were ready to eat!

After boating it was time to head back to the campsite. Stella helped Dad get a fire going by rounding up some twigs.

After our S'mores dinner we took the dogs for a walk over to the beach.... 

to watch another sunset. We had perfect weather during our camping trip!

Camping North Beach Campground (Day 1) - 6/17-6/19/2016

First camping trip to North Beach Campground, Burlington, VT. The campground sits on Lake Champlain with direct access to the bike path and the beach area.

Cheese! All buckled up and ready to go!

North Beach...just outside our campsite.

Eight miles of paved path, and along the way runs through and connects many major parks and facilities on the Lake Champlain shoreline.

Off to get some grub! We took the bike path from North Beach Campground to downtown. 

On Fridays from May until October, all the local food trucks are on hand for an evening of food and live music at Arts Riot. 

After a food truck stop we set off for some ice cream or local lingo "creamies"

Ummm maple ice cream! You weren't eating that ice cream were you Mom? Let me just go ahead and hold this one for you!

First day back in daycare

Stella started back 2 days a week in daycare at "adventures in early learning."

Dad dropped her off and came back with lunch a few hours later to make sure she was adjusting well. She seemed to be doing fine.

Mom picked her up and her teachers said she did very well with her new class. We went to get a celebratory gelato from the shop across the street. 

Back in good ol' Tennessee for the week!

A visit to Dollywood Splash Country was a perfect way to spend a hot Tennessee day! Stella had a great time splashing Mom & Dad!

Followed by a nice and relaxing float trip down the "lazy river."

Next stop....

Dip n' Dots! Mom got a chocolate & Dad got a banana split Dip n' Dot. Stella had both as she strategically positioned herself right between Mom and Dad. Umm yummy! 

We celebrated Memorial Day with friends hanging out on the dock...

and floating in the water! 

Nice to be back on the lake! 

Memorial Day - 5/30/16

A friend of ours let us stay at his camper on Norris Lake for the week.

Nice to grilli out and relax. Of course Max was thrilled to be camping on the water all week! 

Good to be back in good ol' Tennessee!
