Stella’s first week: at the hospital

Stella Mae Baker – 4/16/14 9:54pm 8lbs. 12oz 21 inches. Stella means star in Italian and Mae means beautiful in Celtic/Gaelic. She’s our beautiful little star.

36 & 37 Week Doctor Visit

At 36 weeks (3/19/14), we went in for an ultrasound to get measurements, estimate her weight and see her again! Unfortunately, we didn't get to see her face because she kept her hands in front of her face the whole time. So, no pics for 36 weeks. Her heartbeat was 148 bpm. We were surprised that her weight was estimated at 7 lbs 12 oz already! Her head was measuring at 38-39 weeks size too. She must have had a little growth spurt between 34 weeks and 36 weeks because Colby was measuring at 37 weeks.

The following week we had another regular checkup. Her heartbeat was 150 bpm and everything looks good. We're hoping her growth spurt slowed a little since Colby was measuring around 37-38 weeks.

Baby Shower hosted by Auntie Erin

Erin threw us a wonderful baby shower on March 15th. Everything was yellow since baby baker's room is yellow and grey.
