34 week Doctor Visit

3/5/14 - 34 week Doctor Visit. Doppler done today to check her fetal heartbeat. She's doing good! Heart rate was at 148 BPM. We also preregistered and took a tour of Labor and Delivery. Getting close!

Baby Room: Under Construction

When Cameron (a.k.a. Nuncle) came in to visit for Christmas, he helped Joe paint the baby room.









Once the painting was done, Joe added some stick-on flowers

We got a dresser/changing table from Ikea. Joe did most of the actual assembly work.

While Colby supervised

Joe found the crib which looks great with the handmade bed skirt by Great Aunt Mary.
  
The matching quilt works perfectly on the temporary rocking chair.  

February 2014: 2D/3D Ultrasound

On February 21 (just over 32 weeks), we had a 3D/4D Ultrasound done. We were excited to get to see her move around and get an idea of what (and who) she looks like.
She was already head down and, although she moved her arms and legs quite a bit, she seemed pretty comfortable there.
We were both surprised at the amount of detail we could see. She definitely has Joe’s mouth.

February 2014: Baby Shower in Ohio

    

Grandma Ruth and Great Aunt Mary threw us a Baby Shower in Ohio. We played games, had great food…

and opened presents. Baby Baker got some really cute clothes and many things that we need for her arrival!

Aunt Jessica made this wonderful diaper cake. It was so cute we didn’t want to take it apart!
